Meatballs, Atlanta Style

Pre-cooked Italian (or Swedish Meatballs) or make your own Boiled pasta Onions Red & Green Peppers Yellow courgette Coriander thyme garlic salt black pepper Momma’s Cajun seasoning Olive oil Passata or store bought pasta sauce Parmesan


Brown the meatballs in a frying pan and warm through. Drain your pasta and use it to line an oven proof dish. Add a tbsp of Olive oil to the pan toss in your vegetables and herbs. When the veg is softened add black pepper, salt, garlic salt, Cajun seasoning and thyme to the meatball mix, add some pasta sauce (or a bottle of passata) add to the pasta, stir thoroughly, top with cheese and bake in the oven until the sauce bubbles and the cheese is melted. Serve with greens or salad.
